Point Lake Project
Point Lake is located in the southeast portion of the 1,140 square kilometre Ekati Mine property, about three kilometres northeast of Misery Camp. The open pit project targeted to start production by early 2024, serves as a critical bridge to the future of Ekati by continuing to provide kimberlite ore feed to the process plant while further exploration programs and development projects, including underwater remote mining, are pursued.
Arctic Canadian has collaborated and engaged with local communities and regulators to earn support and develop a plan to extend the mine life at Ekati and continue to provide benefits to the North through the Point Lake Project. Arctic Canadian is committed to executing the Point Lake Project in the most environmentally responsible and sustainable way and working with communities and regulators to ensure that all questions and potential concerns are addressed.
