Arctic Canadian is a Canadian diamond mining company and one of the world’s largest producers and suppliers of premium rough diamond assortments to the global market. We own and operate the Ekati Diamond Mine, located approximately 300 kilometers northeast of Yellowknife. Our corporate office is located in Calgary and our sales and marketing office is located in Antwerp, Belgium.

Arctic Canadian Apprenticeship Program
Arctic Canadian offers apprenticeships in various trades including, heavy equipment technician, millwright, electrical, plumber and carpenter. Apprentices are given the opportunity to work closely with their selected mentor or journeyperson who supports their apprentices continued practical education when not at school. The program also enables participation in skills competitions (when viable), which helps the apprentices develop knowledge and confidence in their abilities.

The Ekati Mine hosts a dynamic working community of talented and hardworking individuals. Approximately 1,100 employees and contractors work at the Ekati site. Our campsite lodging amenities at Ekati Mine, include individual private bedrooms, a full-service dining room, on-site concession store, laundry room, a TV lounge and games room, and a fully equipped gym with a wide range of cardio and weight equipment, as well as a running track and squash courts.
